Providing for the Common Defense

As if things are going from bad to worse.  Leon Panetta being picked for Secretary of Defense may well be another slap in the face to military and veterans alike.  Quoting Michaela Bendikova  (The Foundry) "As Panetta was a chief architect of the defense budget drawdown in the 1990s, Congress should make sure that the U.S. interests at home and abroad will remain protected and that the government will “provide for the common defense.” Makes you feel all warm inside huh?
